Five Homilies – October 11th through November 8th

A backlog of audio was caused by a number of circumstances, and these are all caught up, and uploaded to SoundCloud, through yesterday, November 8th. These should be available in your SoundCloud app if you have it on a smart device. The homilies have also been added to the Assumption Grotto Church Facebook page. If you are in Facebook, and follow the parish page, you will also see a SoundCloud icon in the left sidebar.

Here are the homilies uploaded from oldest to newest:

October 11: This homily was delivered on Sunday, October 11th, at the 9:30 a.m. EF Mass, and at one other Mass that weekend. Fr. Perrone speaks about being in the state of grace.

October 18: This homily was delivered on Sunday, October 18th, at the 6:30 a.m. Mass, and at one other Mass that weekend. Fr. Perrone speaks about truth, doctrine, and and how we can deal with the onslaught of wickedness in the world around us.

This homily was delivered on Sunday, October 25th, at the 9:30 a.m. Mass, and at one other Mass that weekend. Fr. Perrone speaks about the Kingship of Christ on this Feast of Christ the King.

This homily was delivered on Sunday, November 1st, at the Noon Mass, and at one other Mass that weekend. Fr. Perrone speaks about the Solemnity of All Saints.

This homily was delivered yesterday, November 8th, at the 9:30 a.m. EF Mass. Fr. Perrone speaks about the transformative process of uniting ourselves in Christ.

Hopefully, everything will be back on track to upload homilies the same day, or within two days of when they were delivered.

At the beginning of the last recording on November 8th, Fr. Perrone mentions 40 Hours Devotion next weekend (Friday thru Sunday). Take note that the EF Mass, normally at 9:30, will be at Noon, and the 9:30 will be the new Mass in Latin. Here is a flyer for 40 Hours. Please consider spending time with Our Lord during this devotion, so rarely seen today.
